There is something about a fresh, new year that makes me want to write. Not online, tapping furiously on a screen (although I'm clearly not averse to that either!), but taking my time to really write - longhand, with a beautiful pen, and using elegant stationery or a brand new notebook - I imagine my 2019 desk will look just like this (all items from TK Maxx) : Mind you, any new stationery items have a lot to live up to.. my husband is a lifetime devotee of expensive, top quality writing instruments. He owns, and regularly uses, a wide range of fountain pens, propelling pencils and rollerballs, from luxury makes such as Mont Blanc, Dunhill and Parker Duofold.
